"There is no use trying, said Alice; one can't believe impossible things.
I dare say you haven't had much practice, said the Queen. When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." ~Lewis Carroll
It's official! You can now address me as "Your Highness". I have achieved Queen Status! It's true. It's written in stone-a gift from the fine people at West Coast Monuments & Signs in Myrtle Point. Do you need to have something written in stone? I would suggest that you contact Joyce or Alan at West Coast Monument & Sign, 52798 Stringtown Rd, Myrtle Point, OR 97458, phone 541-572-5228 or
www.coastpetmemorials.com. Just don't complain to them about my recent promotion.
But back to my queenly tasks. I want a nicer palace. Not that I'm greedy or anything, but if you are going to be a queen, you should sort of have appropriate property to go with it, don't you think? So my number one serf... I mean husband... Neal, found the perfect location for me. It's only $175,000 plus I'll need some extra cash to actually build my castle and the half mile of dirt road needs to be paved and I will need some staff to maintain the yard that I don't have and the kitchen that hasn't been built yet and a chauffer to take me places. That's where you come in. As my loyal subjects, I'm allowing you to pay for all of this royalness. See how politely I said that? It's your honor to send me $50. Make checks payable to Queen Janet.
What does all of this have to do with the computer world? Absolutely nothing! But I will shamelessly say, that if you don't want to send a check to my royalness, there is the option to support me via doing business with Comp-U-Talk. Computer prices are pretty stable right now. We're not expecting any major enhancements/improvements in the near future. Microsoft has introduced a new version of Office and changed some of the licensing terms and rearranged what is included in each Office Suite. NVidea has released some new video cards specifically designed for gaming. Windows 7 has proven to be as faithful and reliable as Windows XP, although older printers, scanners, software might not run on 7. If you are thinking about upgrading or replacing a system, now would be a safe time to do so. Click here for current pricing.
